Countryscape worked with the South Yorkshire Archaeology Service to develop a brand identity, promotional literature and website for the South Yorkshire Historic Environment Characterisation project - aka "South Yorkshire Timescapes" (supported by English Heritage).
The project aimed to explore the history of South Yorkshire through a process called Historic Environment Characterisation - a method of using maps, historical records and archaeological evidence to help understand the evolution of place and establish the age of its characteristic features.
