Quarry Bank Mill

Quarry Bank Mill is one of the most famous and best-preserved textile mills of the Industrial Revolution and is now a museum of the cotton industry. Countryscape has produced a series of outdoor displays for the estate, providing information on the Lower Garden – formerly used by the mill owning Greg family as a private retreat – and the newly acquired Upper Garden, which once provided food for the family and now offers a cliff-top view over the estate.

This work has also involved the design and print of a Garden Guide publication, which provides visitors with a summary of the garden’s history and key features. All materials have been produced in accordance with the National Trust brand guidelines, including use of 100% recycled paper stock where appropriate.
