Countryscape produced a series of thematic maps for the Manchester Biodiversity Strategy, covering parks and open spaces, waterways and Sites of Biological Importance (SBIs). Each map contained an overview plan of Manchester, showing the location of particular ecological features, as well as additional descriptive information such as photographs and written notes. The overall aim was to produce maps that could stand alone from the written report, while communicating key information in a clear and engaging format.
Countryscape are a very special team to work with. Their professionalism and creativity is second to none, and nothing is too much trouble for them. They are also genuinely interested and enthused by environmental issues, which comes across very clearly in the quality of their work. During projects they are always keen to offer advice and good alternatives to help improve the work in question, rather than just seeing the job through. I look forward to working with them again - Jon Follows, Environmental Strategy Officer, Manchester City Council
