Hobhouse Map available as a high resolution scan

I've been trying to track down a decent resolution scan of the map the appears in the 'Hobhouse Report'. The map appears in the Report of the National Parks Committee (England and Wales) submitted to the Ministry of Housing and Local Government by the Committee led by Arthur Hobhouse.

The National Parks Committee assessed England and Wales for areas of land worthy of designation as National Parks or Conservation Areas (now known as Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty). It is interesting to reflect on the striking similarity of this map to the pattern of designated landscapes we have today and to questions why some areas didn't make the grade.

Our friends at the University of Manchster John Rylands Library have helped us out by scanning their copy of this and making it available for free viewing. You can also purchase a high resolutions scan.
